@kettanaito the conceptual model of React is that you take inputs (props, state) and return the next UI (JSX). notably, both for first render *and* for updates. this model, setting aside the practicalities of working in JS, is a pure function. that’s as FP as it gets.

To become a frontend engineer in 2023, the landscape has changed. It's no longer just React. It's now: - Typescript - Next.js (For react devs), Nuxt.js (For Vue devs) - SSR, SSG, CSR - Vite - Testing Library, Cypress tests 90% of frontend jobs use at least 2 of these everyday.

2. Vercel Developed by the team behind Next.js. It’s become increasingly popular, and for good reason. It’s awesome — great features and great DX. Deploy frontend and backend here. Generous free usage tier. 👉 https://t.co/XO4xEw0l7t https://t.co/mgf3zOjXxY

@leeerob I feel like "todo list" lends itself to app-like frameworks, and "blog" caters to SSG with minimal client-side JS. If this is for Next 13... I'd probably go todo list or ecommerce to show RSC to its full potential!

So I’ve started working on something: codebasics is a site that focuses on teaching everyone the basics of coding. I’m doing this because I started teaching some people JS, and I haven’t had the time to continue. I’m building this with Next JS, Tailwind and Sanity. https://t.co/X8ckfo6WGa

@thdxr @nextjs Talk to @peer_rich. He runs one of the largest open source Next.js project. Everything is open so you can get a pretty good overview on how it is running Next.js in prod at scale.

The @liveblocks crew knocked it out of the park with all of their releases this week — new design, Next.js template, dev tools, and a ridiculous amount of easter eggs on the landing page ✨ https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1" target="_blank" class="text-blue-400 hover:text-blue-600">https://t.co/j3k1BppDf1

Another @OracleSQLDev Next tease A mix of text/GUI..the features you come to expect, in a familiar presentation. With the flexibility and modern look and feel you've been asking for. More js than Java on the front end, but we're still leveraging 20 years of tech! #oracle #sql https://t.co/EJiBpWakNs
